The Accounting Doctoral Scholars Program is currently not accepting applications. We appreciate your interest and support of the program and will provide updates in the spring of 2012.
Investing in the Future of Accounting Education Begins with You.

Become a Professor and influence the future of the accounting profession while changing the course of your life.

It’s no secret that there is a growing shortage of academically qualified university accounting faculty members, especially those with recent real-world experience in audit and tax. In response, the Accounting Doctoral Scholars Program was formed in 2008 to provide funding to help accountants, with recent public accounting experience in auditing and tax, obtain their doctorates. These dedicated professors will then go on to teach and research at the university level. These individuals will begin mentoring the next generation of accounting students and help shape the future of the profession.

It’s a life-changing step, both for those who choose to become professors and for the lives they’ll influence in the future. And the results will have far-reaching positive impact on the accounting profession.
